A little slice of Mill Hill History

As we are not putting together a focus today.  We start with a little historic video.


We thought we'd entertain those of you who love a bit of Mill Hill History with a Mill Hill History special. Back in 2010, a local resident, Audrey Shaw did a guest blog for the Barnet Eye blog, detailing how the Broadway had changed between 1959 when she moved to Mill Hill and the intervening 51 years to 2009.

With Audreys permission, we have revisted this and added a few little nuggets that we found, of pictures from the Millenium in 2000. We hope you enjoy this. It is quite interesting just how few are still there. Even since 2010 there have been considerable changes, the latest being the departure of HEE's chinese takeaway that closed for the last time last night
