Mill Hill Focus - Issue #10 - Town Square opening Special - 03/12/2017

There was a big event in Mill Hill this weekend! The fun started on Friday with the great Xmas light Turn on and the opening of new Town Square in Mill Hill, yesterday opened by Mill Hill Councillor and Deputy Mayoress Val Duschinksy (apologies for the misplaced thumb! on the video)

We had Ballet, Choirs, Swing, Rock and Roll, Indie and pop artists performing. Despite the cold weather there was a very warm glow around. When summer comes, I think people will really start to appreciate the space. Don't just take my word for it, checkout these tweets from locals joining in the fun. If you don't know Mill Hill, the space is next  to Boots and opposite Iceland.

Crowds continue to enjoy the Christmas Festival Come down for food and music plus brilliant stalls until 6pm ♥️πŸŽ„πŸ“ΈπŸŽ…πŸ§❄️πŸ¦„πŸ¦„

Of course the Town square has only been opened for 2 days, but the response I've had has been 100% positive (well actually 99%, one curmudgeon said it was too busy and that he'd missed the bit he wanted to see).

Transport

The big news this week is the suspension of parking charges in Mill Hill for the Xmas period
