A message from the Hale Liberal Democrats - Time to end the Tory-Labour Stitch up

Since 2014, Hale Ward has been split between the Tories and Labour. What has this delivered for Hale? Nothing! In fact so little that all three current Hale ward councillors have quit! Hale residents pay the same council tax as every other ward, but at a recent meeting of the Councils Conservative run Audit Committee, outgoing Hale Councillor Hugh Rayner boasted that Hale had received less spending than any other ward in Barnet.

As to working for the taxpayers, Hale currently boasts the councillor with the least appearances in the council chamber.

The Hale Lib Dems offer a different approach. We will work hard. Labour is in turmoil and the Windrush scandal has shown the Tories are no better.

Today we've seen the bizarre spectacle of a Hale Ward Conservative Councillor and a Hale Ward Labour candidate squabbling over who should report fly tipping to the Council

This is not good enough!
Let us remind Hugh that he's still a councillor and still getting allowances until next Thursday. We want less squabbling and more action!

It’s time for a change. It’s time to give the Lib Dems a chance.

It's time to end the Tory-Labour Stitch up
