Petition launched on Barnet Council website to ask council to clean streets and empty bins

Mill Hill Residents taking matters into their own hands

We the undersigned petition the council to reverse the decline in street cleaning across the borough.

The standard of street cleaning has fallen to totally unacceptable levels.
Many streets have large amounts of litter. Bins are often overflowing. Everywhere you see piles of
rotting leaves from the autumn and other uncollected debris.
Standards are notably far lower than in neighbouring boroughs. We want Barnet to be an attractive place to live, do business and visit and urge the council to reverse the decline in street cleaning across the borough..

This petition was launched by David Attfield, who lead the successful campaign against illegal parking charges being levied by Barnet Council. Thanks to David, all of us who live in a CPZ are paying less for our parking permits. Unless you like dirty bins, please sign
