As we all start to wind down for the holiday season, the Team at A Better Mill Hill hope that all our readers have a marvellous holiday season. This will be our last newsletter of 2018, so we also wish you a Happy New Year.

After our charity boxes were stolen. Local business' have come together to help raise money for Michael Murphy Dressage to get to the Paralympics. Huge thank you to The Laboratory Spa & Health Clubs in mill hill and The Adam & Eve for donating these wonderful prizes. Tickets are available in our shop. See image for details on the prizes.


Local Unsung heroes recognised in Mill Hill

Recognising the unsung heroes of the London Borough of Barnet
Mill Hill Rugby Club saw the annual Barnet Eye Community Awards. Among the awards, Local Charity of the year is Barnet Mencap for their amazing work setting up a mixed ability Rugby club with Mill Hill Rugby club. The Mill Hill and Colindale Litter pickers were given a Citation for Community Contribution and Rev Helen Shannon was named Barnet person of the year for her outstanding work helping residents of The Grange to find accomodation and shelter following a major fire.
